Bartender- Valley Collab House

Title: Bartender

Reporting Relationship: This role will report directly to our Taproom Manager.

Job Role and Responsibilities: This position plays a major role in a guest’s bar experience at Three Notch’d Brewing (3NB) Company. A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A bartender should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.

Shift Brewer-Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Shift Brewer

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to IX Park Head Brewer, and Founding Brewmaster

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Shift Brewer is based at our main production facility, operating our 20bbl 2-vessel. Aspects of this system includes milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, hop additions, whirlpool, and wort cooling. In addition, the Shift Brewer is responsible for pre- and post-cleaning and sanitation of all transfer lines and vessels. The brewer also is responsible for cellar tasks including, but not limited to, yeast pitching, filtration, beer transfers, tank Clean-in-Place (CIP), various fermentation additions, maintenance of parts and hoses, and the filling of casks and firkins. The brewer is expected to be punctual, self-motivated, and contribute within a teamwork environment.

Packaging Technician- Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Packaging Technician

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to the Packaging Manager and Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Individuals will perform packaging activities efficiently and safely, incorporating quality in every bottle, keg, can and case within company specifications and schedules. This includes kegging, bottling, canning and warehousing. Must be able to work any shift in a 24-hour period.

Guest Experience Specialist- Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Guest Experience Specialist

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to IX Park General Manager, Head Brewmaster, and Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Guest Experience Specialist will provide service to customers at our retail shop in the brewery. This individual will also check-in with guests to ensure they’re enjoying their experience at the brewery. During the shift, this role will serve as the curator of group tours in our Charlottesville IX Park Brewery location. This position will require an individual who has extensive knowledge of our brewery, craft beer, and be enthusiastic about our brand!

Sous Chef - Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Sous Chef

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to our Executive Chef

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Sous Chef oversees kitchen operations by supporting and training the Line Cooks and other Kitchen Staff. The Sous Chef assists by managing kitchen production and employees. The Sous Chef is primarily responsible for cooking all food orders in an efficient manner. In addition, the Sous Chef prepares food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment. The Sous Chef always ensures quality consistency by following recipe cards and production and portion standards. The Sous Chef is expected to serve as an example for the other Cooks to aspire to by continually going above and beyond. Also, the Sous Chef plays a key role in ensuing a sufficient inventory is maintained in order to meet daily needs, record deliveries, deal with discrepancies and assist with storage. The Sous Chef is highly knowledgeable about the proper use of kitchen equipment including but not limited to steamers, ovens, mixers, grills and dishwashing equipment.

Line Cooks - Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Line Cook- All shifts

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to our Sous Chefs, and Executive Chef

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sets up cooking stations (cold side, broil, sauté, deep-fry, pasta, etc.) with product, supplies, utensils and equipment; portions, cooks (cold assembly, broil, sauté, fry etc.) and plates and garnishes meals for delivery to the customers.

Dish Washer - Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Dishwasher- All shifts

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to our Sous Chefs, and Executive Chef

JOB DESCRIPTION: Washes, stores, and stocks all plateware, glassware, silverware, food storage containers, cooking supplies and other small equipment; maintains dishwasher area and surrounding kitchen work areas in a sanitary, safe and efficient manner.

Food Runner - Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Food Runner

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to our FOH Floor Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:This position requires a motivated individual to support of staff and assist in provided a great experience for our customers. This role entails relaying information to front, and back-of-the-house staff. During peak service hours, this role will assist servers, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a excellent service. The ideal candidate possess great communication skills, can work in a fast-paced environment, has attention to detail, and can multi-task.

Barback - Charlottesville Craft Kitchen and Brewery

TITLE: Barback

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position will report directly to our FOH Floor Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: The position of barback supports the bartender and other team members. They assist with open, and closing tasks, and works with bartenders to ensure customers have quality service. This role requires someone who can work in a fast paced environment and complete all duties expediently.
