Job Summary: The server position is vital to achieving excellent front-of-house customer service Three Notch’d Brewing Company. Duties will mostly include taking food and drink orders, and ensuring guests are properly served and all payments are collected.

Host / Hostess- Charlottesville Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Job Title: Host/Hostess
Job Summary: This position is the first, and last person, our guests will interface with. This role requires an individual who can greet guests as they enter the location. The host/hostess will then seat guests and present them with menus while exhibiting the best customer service.

Food Runner- Charlottesville Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Job Title: Food Runner
Job Summary: This position requires a motivated individual to support of staff and assist in provided a great experience for our customers. This role entails relaying information to front, and back-of-the-house staff. During peak service hours, this role will assist servers, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a excellent service. The ideal candidate possess great communication skills, can work in a fast-paced environment, has attention to detail, and can multi-task.

Sous Chef- Charlottesville Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Job Title: Sous Chef
Job Summary: The Sous Chef oversees kitchen operations by supporting and training the Line Cooks and other Kitchen Staff. The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef by managing kitchen production and employees. The Sous Chef is primarily responsible for cooking all food orders in an efficient manner. In addition, the Sous Chef prepares food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe sanitary work environment. The Sous Chef always ensures quality consistency by following recipe cards and production and portion standards. The Sous Chef is expected to serve as an example for the other Cooks to aspire to by continually going above and beyond. Also, the Sous Chef plays a key role in ensuing a sufficient inventory is maintained in order to meet daily needs, record deliveries, deal with discrepancies and assist with storage. The Sous Chef is highly knowledgeable about the proper use of kitchen equipment including but not limited to steamers, ovens, mixers, grills and dishwashing equipment.

Line Cook-Charlottesville Three Notch'd Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Job Summary: Sets up cooking stations (cold side, broil, sauté, deep-fry, pasta, etc.) with product, supplies, utensils and equipment; portions, cooks (cold assembly, broil, sauté, fry etc.) and plates and garnishes meals for delivery to the customers.

Brewer- Roanoke Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Job Title: Brewer
Job Summary: The Brewer is based at our Roanoke Craft Kitchen and Brewery, operating our 3.5 bbl brewhouse. Aspects of this system includes milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, hop additions, whirlpool, and wort cooling. In addition, the Brewer is responsible for pre- and post-cleaning and sanitation of all transfer lines and vessels. The brewer also is responsible for cellar tasks including, but not limited to, yeast pitching, filtration, beer transfers, tank Clean-in-Place (CIP), various fermentation additions, maintenance of parts and hoses, and the filling of casks and firkins. The brewer is expected to be punctual, self-motivated, and have a strong connection with the Roanoke community.
