November 14, 2015 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Three Notch’d Brewing Company
520 2nd St. SE
BREWHAUS BOOGIE is the 1st Concert from our Live at Three Notch’d Winter Music Series in the Brewery.
GirlChoir- Headed by Maynard Snipe, Girl Choir is Charlottesville Virginia’s newest old school pop punk new wave indie rock trio.
We are Star Chidren- is a 6-piece “adventure pop” band from Charlottesville, VA. They veer in and out of conventional rock/pop arrangement: horn and synth cascade over a surging rhythm section, brazen enough to share lead with the advancing wall of rich harmony vocals. In their recordings and live shows alike, they continually dance with beauty and mayhem, occasionally spinning into a contemplative waltz or tip-toeing down an eerie alley, but ultimately whipping the crowd into a full froth. They frequent debaucherous fundraisers, host homegrown shows in bookstores, and bring down the house whenever they appear on stage.
Will have some Three Notch’d favorites pouring as well as the Limited Beer Release of:
“Game Theory” Vanilla Bean Russian Imperial Stout
ABV – 9.0% IBU – 70
This beer was in collaboration with Brew Gastropub in Richmond, VA for their 2nd year anniversary. Designed by Joe Johnson this beer is highlighted by bourbon soaked vanilla beans and rich dark chocolate flavors.
Cost: $15 gets you a ticket to the show and 1 Complimentary drink ticket.
Tickets avaliable in the Tasting Room starting on October, 30th.
Doors open at 7pm!
2nd Concert Live at Three Notch’d Music Winter Series:
Post Meridian-Founded in 2014, Post Meridian is a band based in Charlottesville, VA that combines the best of sometimes opposing worlds. While feeding off the hometown rock of Charlottesville, the band combines ethereal yet powerful vocals of Shivani Bhatt with uncommon but catchy synth and guitar riffs from Stephen Oklesson and Sam Hewitt. With the infectious energy of drummer Jon Combs and bassist Ryan Gilchrist, Post Meridian plays danceable, grungy music reminiscent of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but with a tinge of atmosphere that drives fans to rock.
